Growing Up
It's crazy to me, still, that my brother is married. Sometimes it still feels like we should be in our childhood days of picking on each other and pushing each others buttons until the other can't take it. I think I've missed my brother more now that he is married than when he was just a single guy. He hasn't changed, he's still the big huge goofy guy we all know but now it's like he has another life. He has a wife, Laci and a baby girl, Kailyn on the way. I couldn't be more proud of him. It's so funny, when he first got married he would always hang out here at my parents house playing video games, watching tv and using our computer for HOURS. We would have to remind him that he was married and he had to go home to his wife! Now four and a half months later it seems like I hardly see him. I love that being around my big brother I can be myself by acting crazy, sharing my frustrations and emotions. I can't wait to get married and have kids so our families can grow together!

I'm BACK!!
I know, I know. I'm horrible at posting blogs. So I'm really going to try to keep up on this and see if I can do it. Only because of Megan and Barbie's encouragement of posting. Even though thinking about it, they're probably the ONLY two that even read and/or check my blog. So to Megan and Barbie, this is for you! : )
Not only am I back blogging but the Mills family is back in California from Scotland! It's like a dream come true having them back. Although it would always be at least every six months that we would get to see eachother, everytime we would get together it's like we were never apart! It's so good having such a good friend back in your everyday life. And I love that Megan's little son Christian is here, my family got to meet him for the first time and they love him so much already!

Refugio to El Capitan
Paula is way into going on hikes and she always talks about how exciting they are. I've always wanted to go with her but never had the opportunity. I called her with the idea of going to the beach and she had the idea of going on a hike. So we went on at hike at the beach! We drove to Santa Barbara and went on a hike from Refugio Beach to El Capitan Beach. In all it was about a 5 mile hike. Actually not just a 5 mile hike, it was an amazingly beautiful, breathtaking hike. We were up on the cliffs and could just see the ocean for miles. We even saw a seal that we named George and a sea otter we name Luke. Walking on parts of the beach were amazing. It was all the beauty God created for us to enjoy but I've never experienced it. Huge rocks that must have been there for hundreds of years never looked so beautiful to me. Once we got to our destination, El Capitan, we climbed on top of the lifeguard tower where it was clearly marked, "KEEP OFF!" and ate lunch and fed the birds. Even though we were sunburned, fatigue and sore it was worth every bit of it! Thank you Jesus for the beauty you have created!!

I'm a new blogger!
So I decided to start a blog. I'm not really sure why, it always seems like everyone has one to talk about their life with their new spouse or their kids. This blog is just about me. So it might get boring or maybe I live an exciting life that I just don't think is all that exciting. I hope I stay committed to posting!
